We live one block from Veteran's Park in Tulsa OKlahoma - where most of the runs start and end. I was awakend at 7:30am by the Star Spangled Banner. The Route 66 Marathon includes a full 26-mile marathon, half marathon, 5K and fun run. This photo is taken from my back yard as runners go across the 21st Street Bridge. The view from my 3rd story office window is amazing! I can clearly hear the announcer - he's saying that OVER 9,000 runners and walkers are participating in this year's run!
