This is my 421st blog post and I've just begun to keep a log of my blog posts. It's a bit of an exercize going back through 1-1/2 years of posts to log them, although it does give me an opportunity to tweak some older posts.
For example, I wrote a post on how it is possible for clients to buy and sell a house at the same time. When I run into clients in this situation, instead of explaining how this works, I send them a link to the blog post I've already written on that very subject.
A client has a question about how much earnest money is required and when their check is deposited - I send them a link to the post I've written about that.
If I'm writing a neighborhood or hyper-local post, I may reference Utica Square, and I want to link to the post I've written about that - more backlinks for me!
I've categorized my "Blog Log" by posts written about Neighborhoods, Community, Events, Advice for Tulsa home sellers, Advice for Tulsa home buyers, etc. Within my spreadsheet is the title of the post, link and date.
So, if you're new to blogging, you might consider starting this practice now. The easy reference in the future will save you hours of time!
